Aloha all,

We deeply appreciate your heartfelt contributions and generosity as we come together to support those affected by the devastating wildfires on Maui. Your compassion and willingness to lend a helping hand have been truly remarkable.

As the situation continues to evolve and the needs of the affected communities shift, we want to ensure that our efforts are aligned with the most effective ways to provide assistance. At this point, it has been noted by state and county officials that monetary donations can have the greatest impact in supporting relief and recovery efforts. These donations allow organizations on the ground to respond swiftly to the evolving needs of the community and allocate resources where they are needed most.

If you are considering making a donation to support Maui wildfire relief, we recommend directing your support to the following organizations that are actively working to provide aid to those affected:

  1. American Red Cross of Hawaii: Your monetary donations and volunteer support can make a significant difference in aiding wildfire victims. Click here for details.
  2. Hawaii Salvation Army: The Salvation Army is providing meals and support for displaced individuals and families in emergency shelters. Monetary donations and large volume meal donations are greatly appreciated. Donations can be made at Hawaii.SalvationArmy.org.

Please note that clothing donations are currently not required, as there is a surplus of clothing items. We kindly ask that you focus your contributions on the in-demand items listed in the email bulletin, which include non-perishable food items, water, handwashing stations, portable charging stations, and more.

Once again, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your support during this challenging time. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by the Maui wildfires.
